/Movies and Video PR News/ - LOS ANGELES, CA, May 17, 2006 - At awards ceremonies held last week, WorldFest Houston awarded Mark Bernier's new short film The Last Time We Were... with a Silver Remi.
WorldFest Houston, the 3rd oldest film festival in North America, has "discovered" film greats such as Steven Spielberg, David Lynch, Atom Egoyan, and the Coen Brothers, to name a few, and is delighted to honor The Last Time We Were... for its outstanding creative excellence.
The Last Time We Were... is a film about relationships, exploring the muted faces of love, avoidance and regret where we learn that the choices we avoid are the ones we regret not making. Starring Jennifer Fontaine and Mark Bernier and directed by Regi Davis, this was a labor of love for Bernier who also penned this gripping story and produced in association with Jennifer Fontaine's Scorpio Rising Films.
The Last Time We Were... has also enjoyed successful screenings at The Los Angeles International Film Festival and The Beloit International Film Festival.
