Ashdown Landing to Host Christian Band Contest
The management company for the Christian explosive and edgy band Ashdown Landing announced today they will host Battle of the Christian Bands!
/Movies and Video PR News/ - NASHVILLE, TN, April 09, 2007 - The management company for the Christian explosive and edgy band Ashdown Landing announced today they will host Battle of the Christian Bands produced and promoted by their management company RS Express Enterprises, Inc. a nationally based company out of Colorado.
The contest is designed to find Christian bands and talent in the Midwest region to promote on a National level. Through a series of levels and performance the best band in the region would be selected as a winner. "Not only am I excited to see the talent in the region, I am excited to see how God will use this as a ministry opportunity to reach out through the gift of music and worship," stated Rob Frank, CEO of RS Express Enterprises, Inc. "You never know what God may do! He might give us an opportunity to televise so that people around the world could enjoy the message of God through song," added Frank.
The contest will be held in seven host churches in the Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Illinois region with the final battle in Springfield, MO. "Not only are we going to see some tight talent, but I know the worship in each session will reach the souls of many," commented Matt Marler worship leader for Ashdown Landing. In addition, RS Express announced Christian band Saltbox will co-host the events.
