Bumblz Media Breaks New Ground with Latest DVD Release

Bumblz Media Inc. is breaking new ground in the preschool video industry with its upcoming DVD release, Bumblz: the Pirate's Treasure. Coinciding with the official release date of February 20th, 2008, eager fans will be able to watch The Pirate's Treasure, in its entirety, on the Bumblz Media website before buying it.
"It's something we've wanted to do for a long time," says Bumblz Media President Ed Konyha. "Our videos are the best sales tools we have, so bringing them directly to the public is a tremendous asset. We're calling it Bumblz TV, and expect it be a big hit."
The Bumblz video series is about a young bee named Bumblz and his bug friends Slomo Inchworm, Fuzzette Moth, Corky Cricket and Spinny Spider. Together, they use their imaginations to have fun, and to learn about the world around them. In this second installment, Bumblz and his friends discover a long lost treasure map and head out in search of the legendary treasure of Longbeard III, the most feared pirate of all time.
The Bumblz series was created by CG artists Ed and Dan Konyha, together with Musician/Cg Artist Dag Livgard. They got their first break in 2002 when their animated short, Something Fishy, was purchased by Revolution Studios and released with the comedy, The Master of Disguise. In 2004, they formed Bumblz Media and released their first title, Bumblz: Clubhouse Friends. It was widely praised by parents and received numerous awards, including a coveted endorsement by the parent's media group, Kids First.
