Bill Metz will spearhead the planning and development of Atlantic Film Studios, which is a $300 Million Dollar studio and distribution facility in South Florida.
PEMBROKE PINES, FL, December 19, 2008 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- Atlantic Film Studios (AFS), a major film and distribution studio concept, has just acquired Bill Metz, the VP of Business Development for PAS Media, Inc. (PMI) in South Florida, as their interim CEO. Bill has taken PMI, from a start-up company in 2008 to a potential $100+ Million Dollar company in 2009.
Bill Metz will spearhead the planning and development of Atlantic Film Studios, which is a $300 Million Dollar studio and distribution facility in South Florida.
Bill Metz was quoted as saying, "AFS is the East Coast answer to a West Coast success. All of the major film studios are based in LA and the surrounding areas. East Coast production companies are responsible for a lot of the film and TV projects we see today, so why not give them a place close to home to make their productions. The entertainment industry is $65 Billion Dollar plus a year industry and Atlantic Film Studios will capture at least 10% of that market in the next 5 years."
Bill Metz will oversee the current financing and development stages, as well as oversee the construction phases of the Florida based studio city. The infrastructure planned as well as the goals set forth by Bill Metz for AFS until the opening. During this time, Bill Metz and the other AFS executive staff will aggressively recruit Major Studio Executives from the West Coast to eventually manage the facility.
