"Manheimer Entertainment announces completion of the development phase for the project 'Thunder Creek Canyon' to be helmed by Seth Manheimer and produced by Gary Manheimer and Caspar von Winterfeldt.
LOS ANGELES, CA, January 21, 2009 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- Manheimer Entertainment is pleased to announce the addition of the western genre motion picture 'Thunder Creek Canyon' written by Justin Bull and Seth Manheimer to its production slate. The completion of a two-year development phase marks the first project for the privately held production and distribution company to be added to the slate of pictures the company anticipates to produce in 2009/2010.
The story is set in the 1850's and revolves around a revenge tale. Seth Manheimer is slated to direct the feature, which the company anticipates moving into pre-production sometime later this year. "We are extremely pleased with this screenplay" says Gary Manheimer "and believe it to be a well-timed vehicle". Seth Manheimer added "I am looking forward to tackling this project and strongly believe that this western has the ability to entertain a wide audience, especially given the recent re-emergence of this genre". Gary Manheimer and Caspar von Winterfeldt are set to produce the picture and early financing discussions are already underway with possible partners. "We have been promoting the picture here at Sundance" says veteran financier Von Winterfeldt "although still premature, the project has been well-received thus far and we anticipate continuing dialogue upon our return to Los Angeles later this week".
Manheimer Entertainment is a privately held production and distribution company with the ability to finance, produce and distribute product worldwide. Recently the company expanded its operations by announcing a foreign sales distribution arm. The company is located in Hollywood, CA.
