7 DVD set provides Directors and DPs comprehensive training in Visual Effects

The 7 DVD set covers everything you need to know as a Director or a DP about shooting visual effects, from green screen, virtual sets, 3D, camera tracking, and motion control, to character animation, motion capture, crowd replication, digital set extension, VFX cinematography, compositing, and much more. For many Directors and DPs, the course will fill a void by providing them with a solid understanding of the visual effects process.
Visual Effects For Directors is the result of 4 years of production, and is completely unique, in that it's about understanding exactly what to do on the set, instead of how to "fix it in post". The goal is for Directors and DPs to have a solid grasp of the VFX process, so that fewer mistakes are made, and more of the budget ends up in front of the camera.
The course covers everything from visual effects basics to advanced techniques.
