TiroMedia Announces Release of Updated Version of HD Digital Signage Player
TiroMedia, a Leader in Digital Signage, has released a new version of the the popular digital signage player: TMP 200 HD. The new version adds a list of new features.
DENVER, CO, April 07, 2009 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- TiroMedia (www.tiromedia.com) has released an updated version of the TMP 200 HD.
The new version adds new features which include:
-VESA Mount Kit. This allows the player to be mounted behind displays that support the VESA specifications. In addition, the kit allows the unit to be attached to a variety of surfaces.
-Compact Flash Support: In addition to USB drives, the player now supports CF disks. Since CF disks offer faster access time than USB, this allows for movies with higher bit-rate to be supported. In addition, the player comes with a Compact Flash Protector which will keep the CF disk hidden.
-Auto Power On-Off: The player provides the ability to be automatically powered on and off based on user-specified settings. This allows the player to be only powered on when needed.
-Watch Dog Timer: The player is equipped with a Watch Dog Timer which will ensure the player will be automatically rebooted if it is ever in an unstable conidition. This ensures an optimum uptime for media playback.
The TMP 200 HD is ideal for environments where there is no network connectivity. All content is played directly from a CF disk or USB drive which contains the media to be played as well as an optional play list. The player supports resolutions at to 1080i and is 100% solid state (no moving parts). Most industry-standard media formats are supported. This includes, JPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9 and VOB/ISO (DVD).
The TMP 200 HD is also suitable for Digital Menu Boards. It can easily be mounted behind virtually any display. Content can be updated easily by simply copying new media files (images and video) into the USB drive. The player also comes with a remote control for easy management.
