The Punch Television Network International Film Festival will showcase a variety of submissions including: Feature Films, Documentaries, Short Films, and Music Videos.
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 04, 2009 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- Punch TV Network is counting down to the launch of our national television network on September 5, 2009. We are looking for independent, innovative film, television, music video and movie directors that would like to have a shot at broadcasting their film to our more than 480 million homes around the world.
The Punch Television Network International Film Festival will showcase a variety of submissions including: Feature Films, Documentaries, Short Films, and Music Videos. Entries will be eligible for Audience Awards in the following categories: Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, International Feature, Short Film, and Music Video.
This unique competition involves Filmmakers submitting their media to be initially screened by a respected panel of industry professionals. The chosen finalists will, then, be showcased throughout a weeklong screening on The Punch TV Network. During the screenings, viewers will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite films via text message or online at: www.punchtvnetwork.com At the end of the competition, winners will be announced on Punch TV Network and www.punchtvnetwork.com
Awards include: An in depth interview with winning Filmmakers featured regularly with submission on Punch TV's November line up, International Exposure, Official Winner/Selection of the Punch Television Network Film Festival and much more!
Unlike traditional film festivals, with limited audience participation and presentation space, Finalists will be aired on International Television and the winners are chosen, by a global audience and online community. The concept behind this film festival is unparalleled allowing Filmmakers instant international exposure to a growing audience of millions. Punch TV prides itself in developing, producing and distributing entertaining multi-media content that targets a wide audience of consumers who enjoy family-value entertainment. The network is host to original movies, documentaries, sitcoms, talk shows, news series, music videos and reality television shows, officially launching September 5th, 2009, throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico the Caribbean.

The Submission Deadline is October 30, 2009. Punch Television Network International Film Festival debuts on Punch TV, November 2-7, 2009. Producers at Punch T.V. encourage all types of filmmakers to enter saying, "This could be anybody's big break!"
If your project wins and is selected, Punch TV Network will broadcast your project around the world and your friends and family will be able to watch your project with the world. This could be your opportunity to strike it big. All genres are welcomed. Shorts, features, music videos and documentaries are welcomed.
