Crafty Screenplay Competition Saves Creative Students Cash

The Canadian Short Screenplay Competition (CSSC) - the most prestigious short film script contest in Canada - is thrilled to announce a permanent low entry rate for students entering the worldwide fest.

REGINA, SK, CANADA, October 30, 2009 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- The CSSC is looking to cut a break to each and every student across the world interested in the film industry by introducing a newly established and permanent low student rate.

"Students these days are under massive amounts of debt and look to save wherever they can", says contest founder David Cormican. "This special rate for students allows them ample time to perfect their screenplays while not having to worry about the rising prices knowing their rate is locked in and guaranteed. It also removes the pressure of having to submit by the earlier deadlines that coincide with University, College and High School semester starts."

Currently, the competition uses a graduated deadline and entry fee system. Rates range from $25 for the Kick-off deadline and climb as high as $75 at the aptly named I-Missed-The-Deadline deadline for those who need the extra moments to finish off their scripts.

The new entry category for students, priced permanently at twenty-five dollars, is effective immediately and can be taken advantage through the competition's PayPal, Withoutabox and snail-mail methods of entry right up until the January 31st, 2010
I-Missed-The-Deadline deadline.
