Christopher Shawn Shaw utilizes his passion for movies to thrive in the filmmaking industry
ROHNERT PARK, CA, May 28, 2010 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- Christopher Shawn Shaw, Freelance Filmmaker, Producer, Director, Editor, Actor, Writer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in filmmaking.
Christopher is a filmmaker currently residing in Northern California. He specializes in film direction, production, and editing. He recently produced and directed the short film "Skip Listening" during the 2010 168 Hour Film Project, a faith-based competition where teams from around the world have 7 days (168 hours) to shoot, edit and turn in a finished short film of up to 11 minutes. "Skip Listening" was the 2nd most-nominated short film at the 2010 168 International Film Festival, with 12 nominations, including Best Comedy, Best Director, and Best Film. Christopher has around 40 short films on the World Wide Web, mostly quirky comedies, including his ongoing Goldy The Goldfish series.
Mr. Shaw received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance (Acting/Directing) from Otterbein College in 1994. Prior to advancing in the filmmaking industry, Christopher worked at the new at&t (formerly SBC California) for over six years. Through his fascination for movies, and desire to direct, edit, and act in films, he pursued a career in the entertainment industry. Presently, he is SAG-eligible (Screen Actors Guild) and has recently been added onto the Internet Movie Database (IMDb.com). Christopher Shawn Shaw aspires to direct inspirational films and comedies in the future.
