Circle of Seven Productions Launch New Company Website
With an eye toward better communication with the specific visitor types to the Circle of Seven (COS) Productions website the company has made significant changes to its corporate website.
UKIAH, CA, February 27, 2011 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- With an eye toward better communication with the specific visitor types to the Circle of Seven (COS) Productions website the company has made significant changes to its corporate website.
"We want those people who visit the site to feel at home there, so we changed the way we deliver information and created a way for people to interact with that information," says founder and CEO Sheila English.
The first big change that visitors to the site will notice will be the micro sites aimed specifically at the type of visitors who come there seeking information and assistance. These micro sites are specific to authors, publishers, readers, booksellers & librarians and those seeking to utilize COS content.
Chief Technology Officer Jacob Henderson who took over the design and maintenance of the site in 2008 designed this year's COS site to include social media functions, easy printing options and a clear site map so that visitors can find exactly what they are seeking easily.
Ms. English shares, "It's our job to know who comes to the site, what they need and to provide it to them in a way that is specific to them. That's what we've done with the new site. We want to speak to those visitors using specific language and material designed for their specific needs."
One of the major changes that occurred this year is the renaming of several products. "Our new product names are now designed to be more fluent across all offerings. If you purchase a Basic Video Package you get the Basic Distribution Package. It's easy to understand that any "Basic" product is our standard starting point and that any "Advanced" product is our high end point," says English. "We did keep a couple of product names because they fell outside of those descriptions. We still have our Cover Story videos and we still have our Long Tail distribution since those descriptors are easy to understand for most people in the industry. "
Newly added this year is Web Design which is also offered in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced packages.
The colors, symbol and much of the general language including taglines remains the same, but overall feel and flow are very specific to those who visit and utilize the COS website.
