Actor Steve Tyler Joins Cast of THE THREE STOOGES Directed by the Farrelly Brothers

Steve Tyler, who was most recently seen on the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives, has landed a role in The Three Stooges. Steve Tyler plays an MTV Cameraman.

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 29, 2011 /Movies and Video PR News/ -- Former model turned actor/producer/activist Steve Tyler best known as the KOOL cigarette man is Farrelly Brothers favorite. The Three Stooges marks is his sixth Farrelly Brothers film.

Tyler also appeared in hits Kingpin with Woody Harrellson, There's Something About Mary alongside Ben Stiller, as Officer Reudy in Stuck On You with Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear, Me Myself and Irene and Shallow Hal with Gwenyth Paltrow and Jack Black. Tyler starred in the film The Journey of Jared Price as Mathew Haines written and directed by Academy Award winner Dustin Lance Black. Steve Tyler's television credits include recurring roles on Days of Our Lives and ABC's hit Desperate Housewives as the minister of Fairview.

The plot, inspired by original "Three Stooges" shorts, will have the trio left as newborns outside an orphanage and will follow them into adulthood, the full film being divided into three half-hour shorts and currently in production with an unspecified release date planned in 2112.
