As Managing Director of Metro Cinemas Boronia, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Schouten has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 2006, Metro Cinemas Boronia is a four screen movie theatre complex that shows first run movies. Tom is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations, screening film, programming film, liaising with distribution partners, marketing the location and all other daily routines including customer relations and making sure they present the finest, most cost effective entertainment to their patrons.
Mr. Schouten is recognized as one of the last showmen in the industry. He was awarded as National Manager of the Year by Village Roadshow in 1985. During his collegiate career, Tom became a Qualified Integration Aide at Melbourne Catholic University. He serves as Council President of the Cinema Pioneers Association.
