Group 1217 Announces Production of New Film

Wilson documented his journey in his book, The Eighth Round, which is available online at www.theoneandonlyzekewilson.com, and through bookstores worldwide. The book is written in an easy-to-read narrative style and details his struggle and triumph in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. It is a transformational story that appeals to a vast audience and will change every reader forever.
Production is now underway on a movie that will bring his inspirational true-life story to theaters everywhere to help encourage other citizens to do the same.
Through a partnership with Wilson & Wilson, production of The Eighth Round is being spearheaded by Group 1217 LLC, a film production company that is dedicated to creating innovative and original feature films. The company combines the talents of Jesse Kozel and Annette VerHoeven, who have incredibly diverse backgrounds in Film, Marketing, Theater and Management. Their team plans to begin filming late this spring, and to have the film finished and ready for movie theaters late this year.
